Job Summary

Hours per week: 40 (additional hours may be required occasionally)

Job Location:  2500 W. William Cannon, Suite 205, Beautiful Austin, Texas 78745

Compensation: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 salary per year, depending on skills and experience.  


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Incorporates best practices for project management to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of quality projects

  • Develops, plans, documents, organizes, and manages project schedules and activities in a fast-paced environment

  • Communicates with the clients and agency staff on a frequent and ongoing basis via email, telephone, video, and in-person meetings to understand, formulate, explain and confirm project goals and status.

  • Practices creative and proactive problem solving

  • Provides administrative support to the CEO as needed

  • Answers the agency’s main telephone line as needed

  • Manages inventory of assets and supplies

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of two years experience planning, managing, and delivering small to medium (2-9 month) projects in a marketing agency
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to manage project deadlines and meet cost constraints
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask job duties
  • Strong written, oral, presentation, and listening communication skills
  • Proven ability to interact professionally and collaborate with team members and clients
  • Excellent leadership skills that enhance project team effectiveness
  • Have problem-solving and critical thinking skills; be resourceful
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills and meticulous in attention to details
  • Ability to facilitate meetings to gather requirements
  • Skills in using project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum and software tools such as JIRA and Harvest
  • Be proficient with computers and use of word processing, email and spreadsheet programs
  • Experience using website publishing software a plus
  • Education - Bachelor degree required, in Marketing or Communication preferred
